Get The Word Out… I recently took up the cause to “get the word out” about Kimkins.com and the dangers of following this very low calorie diet. Don’t be fooled. Do your research! Kimkins.con is nothing more than a low fat, low carb, low calorie, unhealthy starvation diet that is causing Eating Disorders (EDs) and hair loss in many. This diet was started by a lady who calls herself "Kimmer" and never even lost the weight herself on her own diet. Kimmer even charges $59.95 for her unhealthy starvation diet and offers a “lifetime” membership that gets you banned from her website if you question her about her diet or after pictures. Friends don’t let friends do Kimkins!! Be smart in 2008 and lose weight the right and healthy way!
The Kimkins scam was fabricated by a morbidly obese woman named Heidi Diaz from Corona Ca. After posing for years on internet low carb diet sites as "kimmer" and fabricating a 200 lb weight loss this con artist invented her own diet, built a website and launched Kimkins in 2006.
Using pictures she downloaded (read stolen) from Russian Mail Order Bride internet web sites, she fabricated before and after stories of amazing weight loss on her starvation diet.
Heidi Diaz bullied and berated those who were "too weak" to follow this strict plan while she gained weight munching on sugar cookies from the anonymous safety of her PC.
After collecting millions of dollars in a few months for membership to this site she was exposed as the fraud she really is and is facing a class action lawsuit as well as being investigated by various authorities.
But her Kimkins site remains operational and there are a handful of co-conspirators such as Jeannie Baitinger and Delaney Deaver, who are perpetuating their boss' dirty work.
Once upon a time I lost a lot of weight on Atkins. I tried Kimkins for a few weeks to break a stall and was totally suckered in by Heidi K Diaz and her lies. Thankfully I stopped before I harmed myself. Slow and steady lower carb and whole foods is what I strive to follow and slowly the "Me" I missed is coming back to life and shape. I am a size 10 now and working on exercise and toning as well as maintaining my weight without being a binger or having yo-yo syndrome.

Ocean, thanks so much for the link to my blog!
I didn't realize your blog wasn't on my blog roll. It's now been added!
Hopefully, with all of us blogging about the dangers of the Kimkins diet, people will drop the diet like a hot potato.
